CHEESY acting, it was embarrassing watching them, made me feel embarrassed for the actors.
Ending was good, but that’s it.
shame on you Rotten Tomatoes
By yahya zaba
Low budget, low cast, ...... any thing that happens for the first hour of this movie is wiped out during the last thrird of the movie. Supreme waste of time and money ..... and for the life of me, how did Rotten Tomatoes give this 5 stars? How??????? Totally undeserving. Somebody please, make a moview that has integrity SMH
This movie is so good. Highly recommend. John Cho is such a great actor.
This is smart. (Spoilers)
By I just saw it
The story itself may be trite but how they deliver that was smart. I am not just talking about the use of a computer screen, but also about weaving trivia in a way that makes this story believable. The writer must know Korean Americans well enough to understand how they might act and react after losing the beloved ones, not to mention dramaturgy of using the contrast between a father and his brother, and between father-daughter and mother-son relations. And the 'biological' sequence of Sturm and Drang. This is in the end an after-school study of AP biology with Anthropology 101 in 4-paragraph English composition to enter the college. Nice job for winning a fantasitc college app essay topic.
Clever idea, but half baked
This is one of those movies that has an interesting idea for a plot but lacks the fully realized progression of the rest of the film to make it all work. Spotty and sketchy throughout, this movie just runs out of steam. Cho is always good, but he can’t save this film.
what a cool concept!
i wasn't expecting this film to be so original in it's use of computers and search engines and phones. lots of twist... definitely recommend this movie.
Orginal, creative and wonderful !
I don't know the cost of this film, but definitely set a good example to those high-cost but trash come out films. This film is great! By the way, it's also told us how important to master the computer and the features of system! hah!
Was really captivating. I really was left guessing and enjoyed that all the characters had depth and purpose to the story line
