    Very boring.
  • Brooke

This film is inaccurate and is an attempt to destroy a former VP's character. The facts are way off and it makes me sad that there is no attempt by these film makers to tell the truth and be honest. I dont understand how people can rate this film and not be upset with the historical inaccuracies. What is happening to our country?
  • If there is one word to describe this movie..

Hackey. i checked out during the scene where he is swishing around mouthwash with the mic inside his mouth. Why?

I like movies about politics even when they are hopelessly biased. I was looking forward to this coming out and even purchased it the day it came out on iTunes (mistake). But this is just a cartoon fantasy of what liberals think republicans are. All that would be bad enough, but the movie continues to propogate multiple faslehoods, the most obvious being that Cheney directed Scooter Libby to out Valerie Plame (it was in fact Richard Armitage). Also sad that the great talents of Bale and Adams were wasted on such a shallow presentation. The one redeeming part of the movie was Steve Carell as Donald Rumsfeld.
  • Wow, well Leftists only care about hit pieces

There's nothing artistically or historically competant about this film. It's just a hit piece. The reviewers who applaud it because they hate conservatives.... are just pathetic. I'm not talking about democrats that genuinely thought it was a good film for artistic reasons. I'm talking about the dolts who specifically applaud this movie for its value as propaganda. They hate republicans, they hate conservatives, this movie is critical of both.... and THIS is the reason they deem it a good movie. Simpletons and dolts.

    Boring. Not funny
  • Good movie

If you take it as entertainment only it is great, if you’re trying to pull factual evidence away from this movie it’s a pile of crap. Actors are for my entertainment only I don’t care what they believe in, what they think or how they vote they have no influence on me. I don’t care about or your opinions, get on the stage and dance monkey dance for your dollars.
  • Stunning film

Regardless of your politics, Vice is such an amazing movie. It is so incredibly creative and the way the story is told kept me craving for more once it was over. Absolutely genius!
  • film was well done, BUT……….

    By spazmonkeyy
The film was well done, BUT……….McKay and Annapurna Pictures couldn't spout a more biased film if they tried. It was hard to just enjoy the film because they were too busy preaching liberalism at me. Seriously, every single scene or opportunity was a blatant stab or mockery of every right-wing individual OR pinning right-wing blame on every single issue from 1970 on. I was waiting for the production to show little glowing, angel halos above any left-winger…which they might as well. On another note, I did think the film's tone was interesting and funny, especially the fake ending half way through…that was awesome! Makeup might have been the best I've ever seen and acting was great. At the end of the day, when making any political film, try to at least make an effort to balance the scale with all the facts and possibilities…because this film miserably failed at that.
