Walt Disney Animation Studios’ "Raya and the Last Dragon" travels to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together in harmony long ago. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well. "Raya and the Last Dragon" features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran as Raya, a warrior whose wit is as sharp as her blade, and Awkwafina as the magical, mythical, self-deprecating dragon named Sisu. Characters also include a street-savvy 10-year-old entrepreneur named Boun, the formidable giant Tong and a thieving toddler Noi with her band of Ongis.

  • Beautiful movie with awesome fight scenes

    By Playkill
Love seeing all the Southeast Asian influences. And the fight scenes were really well done. Felt a bit rushed in the beginning though. I wish there was more character development. That being said, it was a great movie and the family loved it.

  • $29.99 ! DISNEY gouges again!

    By Duped by Disney
At best a mediocre fantasy film that has been done before Ad nauseam only with less skill than others. The use of pop culture references and vernacular slang will date this film in two years so, there goes the “Timeless” story angle. The plot revolves a McGuffin chase for plot devices that only serve as a poor substitute for the real story of friendship, absolution, and self discovery. AVATAR the Last Airbender did such a marvelous job illustrating the heroes journey it was most the pity DISNEY did not steal this story. Awkwafina as Sisu I found unoriginal as the mythical being spouting urban slang , having been done already by Eddie Murphy and Robin Williams decades before. Not a bad film B U T , charging $29.99 for this during a global pandemic is price gouging a public that has been through the greatest economic crisis in a half century is in really poor taste.

  • Wonderful Movie as far as graphics.

I didn’t care much for some of the silly dialogue which is just catering for the millennials and newer generation language. But the visuals were great. Would like to see a better dialogue version of this film released if ever.
