Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) never planned to be Gotham’s new vigilante. Three years after Batman mysteriously disappeared, Gotham is a city in despair. Without the Caped Crusader, the Gotham City Police Department was overrun and outgunned by criminal gangs. Enter Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) and his military-grade Crows Private Security who now protect the city. Years before, he sent his daughter, Kate, away from Gotham for her safety. But now, she’s back, and she’s done asking for permission. In order to help her family and her city, she’ll have to become the one thing her father loathes – a dark knight vigilante. Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate soars through the shadowed streets of Gotham as Batwoman. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, she must first overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.

    Ruby Rose is extremely talentless!! Unless they find a way to replace her with someone else this show is dead. Good is good. It doesn’t matter if you are liberal or conservative as long as you are open minded.But this is so bad!! Possibly the worst CW show, Bad plot, terrible acting.

    It’s different. A story with a twist, go in with a open mind. As for the show, it will only get better. I’m not certain what some of these reviewers are seeing, because I don’t see any bad acting at all. The show moved fluidly, from one scene to the next. Not too much drama, more action based, and a nice telling of how Batwoman came to be in the 1st episode, and kind of why Bruce Wayne disappeared. You have a Gotham with Bruce Wayne missing, and a cousin that puts on his suit. The show I found pretty good. And again, I’m uncertain of some of these reviews. I will definitely be watching this show.

    I’m feeling it but I’d like it to be more edgy picking up where Gotham left off go more pg 13 not G. And not so pc, there’s nothing pc about Gotham so the show needs to represent the city.

    I don’t care what you guys say, this shows gonna rock and besides, this is a little back story before the elseworlds story happened and she’ll be in crisis story. Need i remind that Ms Rose literally survived an injury that would have left her permanently paralyzed because of the stunt work she actually did so have some respect because in reality, its not easy or fake to do that kind of work including the work on the other DC shows and you know which ones I mean.

    So Ruby Rose as Batwoman isn’t perfect but thus far it’s an interesting DC Adventure! Let the Haters Hate, It’s only fuel for, Batwoman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel etc. Lesbian women can be Heroes too people Wake Up!
